Our Return Policy
Every piece sold at Lakou Soleya is handmade by Haitian artisans; slight variations in color, texture, or shape are part of each creation's unique character and are not considered defects.
Return Window
You have 14 days from receipt of your order to notify us of a return. The item must be returned unused, in its original packaging.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the piece and packaging; we'll offer a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping.
How to Request a Return
Email us at lakousoleya@lakousoleya.ca with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll reply with next steps.
Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in the case of our error or a defective item.
Exceptions
Custom or made-to-order items are not eligible for return, unless defective.
